Holiday in SA – Victoria Falls(Bungee Jump + Micro light)
バイロンに多額の保険金をかけたので、手っ取り早くリッチになるためには橋の上から突き落とすのが一番！でも一つだけ問題がありました。バイロンの足にはゴム紐が結ばれていたのです！！
Byron has got a lot of insurance so we thought what better way to get rich then buy jumping off a bridge. But there was one small problem. He had a piece of elastic strapped to his ankle, so this threw a spanner in the works 
バイロンの膝はガクガクと震え緊張しっぱなしだったのは言うまでもありません。でもなんとかジャンプする落ちることが出来ました！エライぞバイロン！
I hope it doesn’t show he was EXTREMELY nervous and shaking. But he managed to jump off fall off and I am very pround of him!
ビクトリアフォールズ橋はザンビアとジンバブエを結んでいる橋で、この橋をジンバブエ側に渡ったすぐのところに国境があります。高さ111メートルからのバンジージャンプが出来ることは有名ですが、いくら紐が付いているとはいえそんな高い所から飛び降りる勇気はありませんでした。ということで、代わりにマイクロライトに挑戦しました。上空から見渡すザンベジ川とヴィクトリアの滝は言葉に表せないほど美しく、人間とはなんとちっぽけな生き物なのだろうと感じました。
The Victoria falls bridge links Zambia and Zimbabwe and has border posts on the approaches to the end. It is famous to the location for a 111 meter Bungee Jump, but I had no courage to do it. Instead, I did Micro light and watched over the Zambezi River and Vic Falls from the sky! It was magnificent view!! Human beings were tiny compare to this superb nature.
でも本当は、こんな小さなプロペラで空を飛べるなんて有り得ない！落ちたらカバか像に踏み潰され、ワニに食べられる！なんて事ばかり考えていたのですが・・・。
However, I must admit that I was constantly thinking about me falling off the ground and being stamped by Hippos and Elephants, and ending up being eaten by crocodiles….
