3日目の午後は、ツアーを終えてフリータイムとなる母と叔母と落ち合う予定だったので、午前中は有名な温泉ホテルへ行ってきました。あいにくの大雨で寒い日だというのに、温泉のお湯はぬるいどころか冷たい・・・。風邪を引きそうになったので30分もしないで出てきました。
We were meeting up with my mother and aunt after lunch time, so we decided to go to a famous hot spa in Budapest in the morning. Despite being raining quite hard and very cold, the water of the spa was warm,, well not even warm, so we stayed there only 30min as I was afraid of getting sick….

母と叔母と合流し、まずはオペラハウスへ。丁度内部を見学するツアーに参加することができました。1884年に建てられたブダペストのオペラハウスはウィーンのオペラハウスを模して造られたそうで、姉妹オペラハウスとして知られているようです。
After meeting up with my mother and aunt, we headed to the Opera House for entering inside with a guide tour of the Opera. It was built in 1884 by imitating the Opera House in Vienna, therefore it was known as sister Opera House.

その後買い物を済ませ、母たちの泊まっているホテルにあるニューヨークカフェで一息つき、フォアグラの食べられるレストランに連れて行ってもらいました。グリルされたフォアグラはとっても美味しかったです。ハンガリアン民謡に合わせて歌う母と叔母、ワインを飲んでご機嫌です。
After finishing shopping, we had a nice cup of coffee at New York Cafe which is located inside of a hotel my mother and aunt were staying. Then they took us to a Foie gras restaurant. The grilled Foie gras was delicious! They were singing with ryism of a Hugarian music and happily drinking wines.

今回も、たくさんの日本食を運んできてくれました。感謝感激雨霰です！
They brought loads of Japanese food in their suit cases again. Thank you so much!

最終日はフライトまで時間があったので、英雄広場という場所へ行ってきました。ここは、ハンガリー建国１０００年を記念して作られたもので、建国に携わった14名の英雄たちの像が並んでいます。ハンガリー人は彼らの民族をとても誇りに思っています。この英雄たちは自分たちの血を飲み、ハンガリー人である証としたそうです。
On the last day we went to Hero’s square as we had a spare time till our flight.
