Leona 8-9months
多忙な日が続いていますが、１０月５日で莉緒奈は９ヶ月歳を迎えました。８ヶ月を迎えた日に夜通しで寝てくれたのですが、これまでも何度か夜通しで寝たもののすぐにまた夜中に起こされたりしていたので今回も期待していませんでした。がしかし、なんと週に５日くらいは１２時間夜通しで寝てくれるようになりました！今回こそは大声で「ばんざ～～～い！！」と言っても大丈夫だと思います。１日３回離乳食をしっかり食べるので夜中にお腹が空くことがなくなったのでしょう。そしてこの１ヶ月は、週単位での成長というよりは１日ごとの成長が目覚しく、だんだんと乳児から幼児へと変化していっている様子が見られた一月でもありました。
It’s been very busy lately but Leona turned 9 months old on 5th October. Since the day she turned 8 months old she has started sleeping through till morning, but I didn’t get too excited about it after being desappointed so many times in the past by her again started waking me up in the midnight. BUT this time I can say this is it! She now sleeps 12h in the evening about 5 days in a week! Hooray! Her weaning has been established very well so I guess she doesn’t feel hungry in the night anymore. Within this month it was clear that her development was progressing by day rather than by week and she is slowly changing from a ‘baby’ to a ‘toddler’.
３５週目、対面抱っこをしていても足で私のお腹を蹴って自分で前向き抱っこに変わろうとします。重くなってきたしよく動くのでしっかり抱いていないといけないため、腕が痛くて仕方がありません。
At 35 weeks, she trieds to twist her body from facing tawards me to facing back by kicking my tummy when I hold her. She is getting heaviour as well as moves a lot so I need to hold her very tight…. Poor my arms…. Well, at least I don’t have to go to a gym to obtain big mustles…
３６週目、「だーーだーーーーだーーーー」と言うようになりました。なぬ！？これは「ダディ」と言っているのだろうか・・・。「マミィ」ではなくて「ダディ」が先なの！？ショック～～～。でも友人の赤ちゃんたちもみんな「だーーだーーだーーー」と叫んでいます。やっぱり「だー」って発生しやすい音なのでしょうね（と自分を慰める）。それにいつも「いってらっしゃい、ダディ」「ダディが帰ってきたよ～」など、私自身が「ダディ」と発することが多いことに気づきました。なのでこの日からひたすら無意味にも「マミィ、マミィ」と言うようにしました。;-)
そしてこの週になんと下の前歯２本が生えてきました！数日ずっと機嫌が悪く、歯茎を触るとゴツゴツと硬い感触もしたのでいよいよだなぁと思っていました。この「歯が生えた」日に、なんとなく莉緒奈はもう赤ちゃんではないんだなぁと思ってしまい、ちょっと悲しい気持ちにもなりました。
この週は盛りだくさん。つかまり立ちをするようになりました。何にでもつかまって立とうとします。しょっちゅうゴンゴンと音がするので何かと思えば、椅子の下に入りバーを掴んで一生懸命立とうとして頭をゴチゴチとぶつけている莉緒奈がいました。間抜けだ～～～。そしてそうかと思えば今度はつかまり歩きも始めました。私の指につかまって歩くのが好きで、ずりずり～っと腹ばいで私の膝まで来ると指につかまらせて～と頼みます。そして自分の行きたいところまでチョコチョコと歩き、目的のものが床にあるとチョコンと座ろうとそ、高いところにあると、だっこして～と腕をあげます。あとは、私の指をぎゅっと握りながら、同じ場所で立ったり座ったりの繰り返しも始めました。最初は何をやっているんだろうと思ったのですが、この膝を曲げるという動作は実はとても難しいことなのだそう。立った状態でバターンと後ろ向きに倒れてしまうのではなく、膝を曲げておしりから落ちる（座る）とう練習をしていたんですね。
At 36 weeks she said ‘Daaaa, daaaaaa, daaaaaa’. What!!?? Does this mean ‘daddy’?? She said ‘daddy’ fast???? Shocking! But all of my friend’s baby says ‘daaa daa daaa’ so I assume it is easier to pronunce rather than ‘ma ma ma’. Well,, I hope so! I always say the word of ‘Daddy’ at home such as ‘Daddy bye bye’, ‘Daddy has come back home!’ etc so Leona might have picked it up. So since this day I have started saying ‘Mummy mummy’ constantly 
At this week her 2 bottom teeth came out! She had been relatively grumpy these days and I could feel bumpy gum so I suspected it would be something to do with teeth. When I saw little teeth in her mouth I felt a bit sad thinking she isn’t a baby anymore….
More event in this week. She can now pull herself up to a standing position by grabbing any sort of things she can find. One day I heard loud banging noise and found out that Leona was under the chair trying to stand up, which was so so cute! As soon as she was able to stand up she has started walking too by putting her weight on sofa, boxes or chairs! She likes walking by grabbing my fingers so she crawles to me then asked me to put my fingeres in front of her. Then navigate me to whereever she wants to go. If an object she is aiming at is on the floor she tries to sit down, if it is an reachable place she asks me to hold. It becomes very easy to communicate with her. She also keeps standing up and sitting down by holding my fingers. I wondered why she did this but it seems like this motion (to bend knees) is actually very difficult. I assume she was practicing to sit down so as not to fall over backwards and hit her head on a floor.
でもここまで動けるようになるとこんなに大変になるとは思ってもみませんでした。何をしていても目が離せません！
Until now I didn’t realise that it will be this busy with having a mobile baby. I have to keep an eye on her all the time!
私がキッチンで料理をしていると、
椅子につかまって立ち、
入れて～！と泣き叫んでいました。
ちょっと無視していたのですが、、、
Whenever I’m in the kitchen,
she stands up by holding a chair
and cries asking me to let her in.
I was ignoring her for a while….
なんとかしてキッチンに入ろうと
泣いて訴えていました・・・。
She then went to under the chair
and tried to come into the kitchen…
どこに行ったんだろうなぁ～と探していると、
植木をいじって土を食べていました、、、。
She was so quiet and I wondered
where she would be…….
She was eating soil of my plant!
モバイルを引っ張って遊んでいたり
I put her down to her cot for a nap
but she was playing with her mobile…
泣いていたり・・・・・
The other day she was resisting
to sleep…..

そして、さぁ大変！と悲鳴をあげているのは私だけではありません。愛猫Tillyは大慌て！莉緒奈はTillyが大好きです。Tillyがいるところへはどこまでも着いていきます。頭を打って泣いていてもTillyを見るとすぐに泣き止むほどです。おかげでTillyはゆっくり寝ることも食べることも出来なくなってしまいました。でもなんだかんだいって莉緒奈の側に寄ってくるし、いつも高いところ見守っているような感じです。（つまり敵をスパイしているということかな、、、？）
It wasn’t only me who was in trouble of having mobile Leona. Tilly was running around the house to escape from this little monkey. Leona loves Tilly. She chases Tilly everywhere. Even when she is crying after banging her head she starts smiling if she sees Tilly. So now you can imagin how Tilly is in trouble….. no relaxation on a sofa, no eating and drinking… But having said so I know Tilly loves Leona too because she always come close to Leona and watches over her from a place Leona cannot reach her. (well,, this means Tilly actually ‘watches’ her enermy…)
３７週目、パチパチパチ～と拍手をするようになりました。どんなタイミングで拍手をしているかというと、、、謎です（笑）。時にはウンチをした後、時にはおもちゃで遊んでいる途中、時にはご飯を待っている間、などなど。バイロンが一生懸命教えてきた拍手です。
この頃に、大きなぬいぐるみに興味を持つようになりました。むぎゅっとつかんでは一生懸命話しかけたりもしています。
あと、ようやく膝を使って四つんばいになってハイハイをするようになりました。腹ばいの方が早く進めるので、早く移動したいときは腹ばい、そうでもない時は四つんばいになっています。
この週にスイミングの最後のレッスンがありました。初級コース（レベル１）を無事卒業することができ、初めてのサーティフィケートを頂きました。よく頑張ったね、莉緒奈！・・・・・でも、最後の最後まで、顔を水の中に潜らせる時は必ず水を飲んでしまうという間抜けな有様でした。普通は水の中に潜ると分かると自動的に鼻と口を閉じるんだそうです。でも莉緒奈の場合、周りの赤ちゃんやママさんたちに愛想を振りまくのに忙しかったり、インストラクターが使っている人形の赤ちゃんと遊ぶのに一生懸命だったりして、水の中に潜るよ～と言っても「え？ナニ？」と言わんばかりの不思議そうな顔をしてばかり（汗）。集中力ゼロです（大汗）。でもこのお茶目さこれまた愛しかったりするんですが。
At 37 weeks she is now crapping her hands. Not sure what timiming she crapps though. Sometimes after pooed, sometimes while playing with toys, sometimes while eating food… Crapping is the one Byron has been teaching her for a long time.
At around this time she started curious with bigger dolles. She grabbes them, shake them, stamp them and chat with them.
She is also able to crawl on her knees now. But she moves quickly with creeping still.
She had a final swimming lesson on this week. She completed a level 1 course and got a first ever certificate in her life. Well done Leona! However even at the last lesson she actually kept caughing by drinking water whenever I put her face under water (All other babies could go under without drinking water….)…. I hear babies usually block her nose and mouth on the event of going under water but in Leona’s case it was a different story.. She was so interested in smiling at other mums and babies or playing with a doll which our instructer was using, therefore even I tried to make sure that I was going to put her face under by saying ‘Leona going under…’ she was like ‘huh? what?’…….. then got very stunned to be pulled to under and breathed all water in! Well…. no concentration whatsoever! But I actualy loved this cuty silliness of her 
３８週目、初めて莉緒奈とキャッチボールをしました。私がゴロンと床に寝そべって小さなボールで遊んでいると、莉緒奈も側に来てゴロンとしたので、ボールをころころ～っと転がしてみたんです。そうしたら、そのボールをぽーんと投げ返してきました。こんなことを１０回くらいは繰り返したでしょうか。いつの間にかこんなことも出来るようになっていたんですね。
この週に初めて莉緒奈を人に預けました。今までなんだかんだ言ってバイロン以外の人に莉緒奈を託したことはなかったので最初はどうなるかドキドキしましたが、日中４時間弱、なんてことはありませんでした。一瞬泣きそうになったそうですが、おもちゃやお散歩などに気を紛らわされ、始終ご機嫌だったようです。よかったよかった。
At 38 weeks I experienced with playing a catch with her. When I was lying down and playing with a small ball she lied next to me, so rolled the ball to her. She then rolled it back to me. We did this 10 times or so. Wow, I couldn’t beleive she was able to do this kind of action.
This week I asked one of my friend to look after her for the first time! Byron has done baby sitting in the night when I did night outs in the past but I had never left her with anyone during day time so was very nervous initially, but it was totally fine. From 11am to 3pm, she seemed to get sobby once but play well, eat well and enjoy for a walk. Pheww.
