Leona 7-8months
９月５日で莉緒奈は８ヶ月歳になりました。手足がかなりムチムチしてきたし力も強くなってきています。抱っこしていてもじっとはしてくれず、足で私のお腹を蹴りながらよじ登ろうとしたり、立ちたがったりと元気一杯です。
Leona turned 8 months old on 5th September. She is getting very plump and strong. She doesn’t stay still while being picked up and tries to climb over me by kicking my tummy with her legs. She is a very energetic baby 
３０週目、ハイハイはまだ出来ないのですが、両腕を使っての匍匐前進がだいぶ上手になりました。行動範囲はまだ狭いですが欲しいもの目掛けて進むことが出来ます。
そしてこの週になんとハプニングが！妊娠中に参加した母親学級で出会った友人たちと週に１回集まっているのですが、その中の男の子Mac君と莉緒奈がぶちゅ～～っ。どちらかというと莉緒奈から迫ったといった感じで、Mac君はただただ唖然。周りのママたちは大爆笑。この日は一番の仲良しEdward君が風邪を引いていて参加できなかったので、その隙を狙っての攻撃でした（笑）。Edward君には後々ちゃんと謝りに行きましたヨ。
At 30 weeks, she hasn’t been able to crawl properly but moves everywhere on her tummy using her arms. She aims at objects and is able to reach it.
At this weeks she experienced first kiss!! I see mums and babies once a week whom I met at antenatal class during pregnancy, and one of the boy Mac was the Leona’s target. Yes she made a move! Mac was jsut stunned… On this day Leona’s best friend Edward couldn’t join the meeting so I assume she wanted to have some adventure with other boys…… Well,, we visited Edward later the week to say sorry 
３１週目後半から３２週目にかけて、莉緒奈がかなりひどい風邪を引いてしまいました。熱は出なかったものの、くしゃみ連発、鼻水だらだら、目は涙目。横になると鼻が詰まって息がうまく出来ないようで、お昼寝させるのも夜寝かしつけるのも一苦労しました。丁度体重を計りにベイビークリニックに行ったのでヘルスビジターに相談したところ、こういう時は横向きで寝かせ、仰向けにならないようにタ
オルなどを背中部分にまるめて置いておくと良いそうです。莉緒奈の場合はタオルを置いても泣きながら無理やり仰向けになってしまったので、Olbasという液体を薦められました。それをコットンに数滴たらしてベッドルームにおいてあげると部屋中の空気がスースーし息がしやすくなります。この効果は抜群でした。ちなみにこの時の体重は６３６０ｇ！離乳食のおかげで一気に増えました。
From 31 to 32 weeks Leona had a bad cold. She didn’t have fever but had bad sneeze, running nose, watery eyes etc. She seemed very unconfortable lying on her back because of stuffy nose, so it wasn’t easy to put her down to sleep. When I took her to a baby clinic to get her weighed a health adviced me to lay her on her side and put a towle on her back to support her, but I’ve already tried it only to find that she easily rolled back. I was also adviced to get an Olbas oil from chemist and put a few drops on tissues and place it in her room. This oil makes the room very fresh so she can breath well even having a stuffy nose. It worked very well. By the way her weight was 6360g! She gained a lot thanks to solid food :-)
そして３２週目、南アフリカからByronのお父さん、Rayがやってきました！Rayが莉緒奈に会うのはもちろん初めてです。会った初日から二人の絆は固く結ばれたような感じで、Rayにたくさん抱っこしてもらった莉緒奈はとってもご機嫌でした。この週に毎年恒例のファミリーパーティーもありました。今年のテーマは「エジプシャン」。今年も仮装する予定はなかったのですが、パーティー当日RayとByronが簡単な装飾を買ってきました。といっても莉緒奈には薬局で包帯をたくさん買ってきて、それをぐるぐる巻いてミイラ状態で参加。この仮装は大ウケで、なんとベイビー部門で優勝しましたヨ。大人数が集まるこのファミリーパーティー、莉緒奈はいろんな人に遊んでもらってとても楽しそうでした。
And 32weeks Byron’s father Ray arrived from South Africa! It was of course the first time for him to meet Leona. They bonded very very well from the day 1, and Leona was always very happy to see him and get a plenty cuddle from him We had a family party at this week too. The theme of this year was ‘Egyptian’. We didn’t plan to get any costumes but Byron and Ray got some head ornaments for me and dressings for Leona….. Yes Leona became a mummy :-0 She was actually very cute and won a first prize on a baby category, hahaha. There are usually so many people gathering up for this party and Leona was very happy whole day to get lots of cuddles from lots of people.
３３週目、腕の力がだいぶついてきたようで、「えっ、えっ」と言いながら匍匐前進でどこまでも進んでいきます。ちょっと目を離すと飛んでもないところにいたり、靴を食べていたり、むき出しになっているケーブルを引っ張っていたり、、、。ご飯だよ～と言うとうれしそうにバンボーチェアまで向かって来たり、ボールをころころ転がすと一生懸命追いかけたり、それはそれはと～～～ってもかわいくて、毎日遊んであげるのが楽しくて仕方がありません。
そしてこの頃から離乳食を３回にしました。一日のスケジュールは以前と変わりないのですが、１１時半の母乳をあげる前に離乳食をあげています。そのうち離乳食のみにしようと思っています。
At 33 weeks we could clearly see that her crawling was progressing. She goes everywhere she wants by saying ‘Eheee, Eheeeeee’. When I am looking aside she is often in unexpected place, eating shoes, pulling cables……. If I call her for food she drags herself to bumbo chair. If I roll balls she chases them. Ahhhh she is sooo cute! I am having so much fun playing with her at the moment.
Around this time I started giving 3 solid food per day. The feeding schedule is the same but give solid before a milk feed at 11:30am. I am planning to drop the milk feed soon though.
３４週目、栄養士とフォローアップの面会がありました。これまで乳製品はあげないように気をつけていたのですが、あたためた牛乳を離乳食に混ぜてあげてみてもいいと言われたので試してみたところ、嘔吐することもなく美味しく食べてくれました。お豆腐を食べても問題なかったので、Aptamil Peptiの代わりに豆乳を与えてもいいのだそうです。この時に体重測定もあったのですが、６５５０ｇ。順調に増えています。
この週、腹ばいになった状態からお座りの体勢になることが出来るようになりました。なめくじのようにずりずりと動いていた莉緒奈がいつのまにか座っておもちゃで遊んでいるのを見たときは驚きました。そして、つかまり立ちならぬ、つかまり膝立ちをすることも出来ました。相変わらず「えっえっえっ」と言いながら勢い良く匍匐前進をし、両手でバンボーチェアをつかんでひょこっと体を起こす動作が楽しいようです。そのうちすぐにつかまり立ちが出来るようになるのでしょうね。
最近横向きやうつぶせの体勢で寝ることが多いのですが、うつぶせの際はお尻をぷいっと持ち上げて寝ています。
At 34 weeks I took Leona to hospital to see a dietitian for a follow-up meeting. I have been careful not to give any dairy food to Leona but was told to try to give her warmed up milk, which she ate without vomitting. She also eat tofu without any problems so I could replace prescribed formula with soya milk. I got her weighed too at this time and it was 6550g. Her weight is gaining properly now which is a releive.
She also became able to change her position from lying down to sit down on her own. It was surprising to find out that she was sitting and playing with her toys just after crawling like a slug. And also she has started standing up on her knees by grabbing a bumbo chair. She seems to like this position so whenever crawling on her tummy she approaches to the chair and stands up on her knees. I assume she will be able to stand up by herself sometime soon.
Recently I have noticed that she sleeps on her tummy while pushing her bum up. This is so cute
